Ingredients

  • 6 pieces chicken thighs

  • salt & black pepper to season

  • 5 tbsp cornstarch

  • olive oil for pan frying

  • For Sauce
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 4-5 tbsp honey (or agave)

  • 7 garlic cloves

Directions

  • Pat dry chicken and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  • Add cornstarch on a plate or tray. Then coat chicken with cornstarch and shake off the excess flour.
  • Add 1-2 tbsp olive oil to a pan. Once hot, add chicken and fry until golden brown and cook through.
  • Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  • To make sauce, combine soy sauce, honey and minced garlic to a bowl. Mix well.
  • Add sauce mixture to a pan. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes until slightly thicken.
  • Add chicken back to a pan and mix well with the sauce for about 1 minute.
  • Serve warm over Jasmin rice and steamed broccoli.
