- For Beef
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp cumin
2-3 tsp chili flake
olive oil for cooking
- For Sauce
4 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp mayo
2 garlic cloves
1/3 cup chopped cilantro (14g)
half lime juice
salt to taste
8-9 mini tortillas
Directions
- Add olive oil to a pan. Once hot, start by cooking the ground beef in a pan over medium heat for a few minutes.
- Then stir in the taco seasoning and chopped onions.
- Stir fry until beef is cooked and onions are soft. Then set aside.
- Prepare the creamy cilantro sauce by adding sour cream, mayo, garlic, lime juice and fresh chopped cilantro into a blender. Blend everything together until nice and creamy and add salt to taste.
- Next, warm your mini tortillas in a pan and top generously with mozzarella cheese. Then fill them with the seasoned beef.
- Pan fry until nice, crispy and cheese is melty. Flip one side over to form a taco shell. Take off heat.
- Serve warm while cheese is still melty and dip in a creamy cilantro sauce.
